I really liked the movie soul, but that did not feel like a film made for kids. And I do think that at a certain point, they lost the sense of who they were making their films for. These films that had deep emotional thematic cores that resonated so strongly with adults is still part of the core mission of an animation studio owned by Disney. So it's not like it's over for them. It just feels like they've been their status among kids even has been weakened.
