Denitha Sneed's Disappearance

A woman named Denitha Sneed disappears. A waitress at a local fast food restaurant reports to detectives that she heard the man she knows as Red Bird make a phone call and tell someone, "Denitha is dead" Several weeks later, detective Jeremy Masters runs across Red Bird at the same fast food restaurant in which he had made that call. He asks Red Bird, but I love how they didn't call him in for questioning. This months go by, they just say, we'll get around to it some point.
