The Role of the UN in Recognizing a Nation State

In order to be recognized as a nation state, you need to have violence, deploy violence and it needs to be successful. And then the other aspects is the juridicality. So you have to be a recognized authority within your own borders and from the UN. The third essential structure or feature of the state is its legislation and law and violence. This is part of the package of sovereignty and metaphysics that's packed in within the idea of a nation state.
