The Importance of Faith in Romans 2
Paul's emphasis on God's impartial judgment serves to underscore the seriousness of human sinfulness. Paul will argue that true obedience to the law requires an inward transformation and a heart that seeks after God. As we show faith in Christ he shows faith in us. He trusts us. And as we show greater faith we grow from grace to grace. We grow in faith in trust.
