The Importance of Observation in Survey Methodology

People tend to satisfy us rather than optimize, that they'll do what they can to get through the day. We see that behavior all the time of people simply muddling through situations. And then they get used to it. So this is another reason why we have to do the observation, because they forget, they just do the work that they do. They don't have to recall it or think about it or do anything other than do their jobs.
