Is Mental Health Policy a Good Idea?
I think mental health policy could be very, very broad if we wanted it to be. How are workplaces treat us in terms of the amount we're working or discrimination or biases that people face can impact our mental health. When we talk about suicide prevention, there's actually a lot of studies showing that to make a big difference on that you need to affect economic policy. Making a livable minimum wage, having a job are huge elements that impact mental health.
