The Magic Grandpa of Tony Ben
I was raised by socialist, in fact my grandad stood for Parliament for the Communists. He did have an excellent Russian hat. So growing up there was lots of talk about politics in my house. My dad was a comedian, he was in the first wave of alternative comedians. Being against Thatcher, that's something you did in the same way as brushing your teeth. I think in another life he could have been a stand-up, but then of course in another life I could have been Labour Prime Minister of Britain. We could go down so many rabbit holes.
