I like to compare it almost to investing that you want to diversify your portfolio and diversify your store. For me, I just wanted to diversify all of my items in multiple niches. If one part of the year one niche doesn't sell, another niche will carry me through,. let's say, the summer or the wintertime. And if I had a few items that really took off or a few listings that took off on Etsy, then I could make more money.
