The Importance of Speed in Strength Training

In strength and conditioning the most forgotten or underappreciated piece is the speed aspect. The evidence does suggest that the plyometrics are very good at increasing the fast switch, but we need more data on that because like i said there's only been a couple of trials. If you want to maximize your fast switch i would do both heavy training and explosive lifting.
