The world is non-commutative, according to the theory of quantum physics. Most algebraic structure are non commutative which means that AB is not equal to BA. Heisenberg discovered this without even knowing mathematics involved in his work. So there are some fundamental structures in mathematics which are inevitable and which are brought upon us eventually by physics.
