I felt like a lot of the things were happening in the past. So I wanted something that was a bit more current. The unknown narrator thread, how did you come to realise that this was necessary if you didn't expect it at the start? What made you feel that you needed to maybe weave this in as well? Okay, so it's a bit difficult without giving spoils. You are trying to make sure that you're giving the reader that experience and a journey. It sounds simple to say you need a beginning, middle and end because that is oversimplifying it Because you need all those different things in between times.
