Jeremy Hunt reverses the Quatang Trust's mini-budget. But what didn't get reversed? There was a stamp duty holiday, which we still have a reduction in the value that people will pay when they sell their houses. I think the major issue was the subsidy for household energy bills. We're taking three steps to support families and businesses with the cost of energy. It was very much overshadowed by Liz Troz and Quatang but it was actually a major state intervention into the workings of the energy market. That £2,500 price cap was maintained by the Chancellor,. capping the average household at £2,000.
