How to Join Any Scale
After he joined Skyline, I worked on Deep Learning 4J. There were some problems between the co-founders,. And so basically, I joined a new company that spun off Skyline which is called PathMind. With PathMind, I did two interesting reinforcement learning projects. But PathMind had to close shop in late 2021. At that time, I already signed the contract with Riley for the new book. Ray has been a power user of PathMind since the early phases. So there were a couple of people who I was regularly talking either on Slack or on GitHub and pretty much it made sense to just move over.
