The Pros and Cons of Using Symbols in Ruby
I remember liking that you could sort of tell at a glance with a single, like dollar sign, it was dollar sign percent sign and I actually forget what the third one was. Now Ruby calls them hashes. It's been a long time. But I remember that was something that I missed about Pearl from other languages. And now that I'm making a programming language, it's not, I mean, I guess I have a revealed preference because I didn't put that in rock.
