The Relationship Between Reason and Faith

Do you need faith alongside reason for your cosmological arguments to be successful? I would say that the column cosmological argument does not depend in any way upon religious faith. The two premises are straightforward factual assertions, for which we can give philosophical argument and empirical evidence. So when the question of faith arises, will I place my faith in this creator of the cosmos who made me and everything around me, or will I choose to live my life independently of him?"
