The Importance of Pronunciation in English

I can barely comprehend English sometimes these days. I lived in China for like three and a half years and I moved to Hong Kong within a week of being in Hong Kong. The English is so different than us that I actually had to download the dictionary and English dictionary to start that. So it takes some time. There's a huge influence, obviously of UK stuff like everybody over here calls it AirCon. And there's lots of Europeans over here too. They also call it AirCon, I think because it's just proximity to UK, right?
