Half the people in America are under the age of 38, but only 5% of our elected officials are. The average person over the age of 75 has seen their wealth increase 72%. It's down, I think, 24% for peopleunder the age of 40. So look at the two largest tax deductions, mortgage interest rate and capital gains - who owns home and owns stocks? Young people. Old people who rents and makes all of their money from sweat and current income, young people. Try and live like a stoic when you're young. Try and save some money. If you can save a thousand bucks a month from the age of 22 to 40, you're kind of done
