Is Your Illness Script for Vericel Bleeds?
There's ultimately some variation in how these patients are managed. If you had any suspicion that your patient may be having a vericeal bleed based on a lottef things we already discussed, if thei'r having significant hemotamisis they have wrist factors for underlying liver disease. You need to act quickly, and you start treating them as vericel bleeds. Its very important that you start all the management that's geared towards lowering portal pressures and protecting those patients with serosis up front, and not wait until the endoscope.
