Daoism and Shamanism - Is There a Connection?

Daoism is really more about spontaneous natural feeling versus external rules of conduct. Once people start talking about righteousness and benevolence, that's the problem. If we didn't talk about ren and Lee, then in maybe in some sense, we are naturally humane. Or it could be that the very ideas don't actually match onto the pure natural way which is a bit more amoral or a bit more out there.
