A lot of people that have been diagnosed longer than maybe 10 or 15 years, they talk a lot about this kind of feeling of just flying blind. I just got done speaking with a 64 year old woman who's had diabetes for like 50 years. She tried to pump and she had some issues with the set. And so she got away from it. Even though her A1C was almost a full point lower on the pump than it was on MDI, she didn't live through a time when even the insulin would allow you to make adjustments to your blood sugar after you ate.
