What advice would you give to consumers of media so that they can be critical, thoughtful consumers of news reporting without just indulging in confirmation bias? What I always look at when I read a story is the sources So who is this person talking to? Are they credible people? I don't trust anything that comes from anonymous sources And I don't allow my students to have anonymous sources.
