The SEC's Response to Coinbase's Rulemaking

Gensler has had two or three different approaches to crypto and if you follow his public statements pre FTX it was somewhat of a different hymnal then post FTX. He said we need new legislation and now he says we don't need any legislation the SEC has adapted the securities laws before to new developments they took some time to do it they were late to adapt it to crypto already about a decade late to adapt them to crypto that's usually about their timeline. The only thing that's different is the politics somehow the politics has become toxic especially post FTX where the Democrats the hardcore progressive Democrat line is is kill crypto and the SEC has moved its focus at the floor at the leadership
