London's Depopulation
There's something very major going onand this is reflected in the countryside, if on a smaller scale. Pandemics cause people to decide not to stay in town and move. We don't see our cemeteries filling with dead. So london's depopulation is, i think, a consequence of a fear of plague, rather necessarily mortality.
