Is There a Future for Machine Learning?

A high profile startup is shut down or acquired for less than 50 percent of its most recent valuation which is a pretty interesting turn from last year's prediction. I think it's also just a function of how quickly you know new players have invested in making their products easy to use and then versus just the dominance of NVIDIA's frameworks. We haven't yet seen like a breakthrough use case in machine learning that was like uniquely enabled by these new chipsets which is sort of part of the part of the promise really.
