The Dutch Problem With the Rhine

The Dutch have a long history of handling disruptive water courses. The medieval city of Nymegen sits on the Rhine and is a prime site for some novel flood engineering. If this ferridaic where we are looking upon now would be broken, this would flood the whole bay to the west which is practically our whole country.
