Is Sustainability a Prerequisite to the Digital Age?
Kurdish of scale talks about civilization advancing in terms of how much energy it's harnessing or importing. But to your point that we talked about last time, that necessarily means if we're importing a harnessing more energy, we're also creating more entropy. So is sustainability then, does it primarily involve intelligent exploitation of entropy? Like we want to harness more energy, but then we're creating more Entitlement. What do we do with this mess? And it's almost maybe back to the point of maintenance, right?
