Detection of Gravity Waves
In the early seventies, John wheeler was working on a project to detect gravitation waves. He calculated that he was three orders of magnitude away from any known signal from any known object. And so i sat down and made an estimite. How long would it be before any one would be able detecting these waves? In 30 years, i'll be an old mani waned to do something that had impact. That's about three decades, n 30 years. But what year was this? Oh, my tat tat. Goes back to the early 1970s.
