The Pacific Leaders' Call to Stop Exporting Fossil Fuels
Australia is expecting Pacific countries to co-host a UN climate conference with it. The average household could be saving up to $5,000 a year if we get this transition right. We've lent money to gas companies to set up gas projects in PNG. We've really haven't helped these countries decarbonise at all. And so we really have to get on with electrification of really gearing up in terms of renewables and then working with them to get off gas.
