Architecture - A Career Choice?

i started in residential architecture outside of san antonio, which is exploding. I worked on anything from k 12 projects to health care projects to utility overhall projects. It was being in the field and doing my punch list and walking with people that were floating concrete or gipboard or installing rebar. That was a coming ito where, i wanted to join the dark side - how do i better as a designer? So i didn't propose to myself, yu now,  I propose to myself,. how do i add value to what i'm doing and kind of become a better designer?
