Is the Federal Government a Force for Eradicating White Supremacy?

For most of our history, the state acting in service of equality was in response to popular uprisings and mass movement. The armed institutions of the state have tended to reflect the white supremacy rather than combat it. If you get a bi administration or, or, you know, whoever in power is willing to use the arm of the state for good, great that's allso. But we can't rely on that, because it usually won't do that.
