The Importance of Owned Spaces
This way of this sort of prescribed and constrained behavior is now also a feature of private life to some degree. In other words, this stuff has been taken from the workplace and like brought home. And so when I say it's in the air we breathe, I mean that it's no longer just something you can escape from after you're done with work. The differences between how you can act with them at the bar after work or whatever are still proscribed by those same rules and expectations.
