A lot of traditionally mail jobs, if they haven't disappeared, have seen significantly reduced wages in areas like manufacturing and heavy industry. In part because of growing competition from overseas, and in part because of grown competition from machines, from robots. And so what that's meant is that actually the value of that labour has become less, and in particular, for less skilled men, earning a lot less. It's worth saying that men at the top of the distribution are doing better than men at thetop of the distribution were before. So the dream hoarding men are still doing very well indeed, thank you very much. But i think the bigger part of the story is to te general economic trends
