i knew we loved each other. He just really was, i never want to say denial, ecause he knew exactly what he needed to do to stay alive - but it was not something he wanted to talk about. When you threatened him, whento stab mim with the fork a, he did not smile, but he he might have eaten a piece of food. I can imagine what it took for him to say that, because that was not in his nature. And it meant acknowledging, that, acknowledging what a huge lift it was to care him in those years.
