In 1984, profit of $12 million, 3,000 employees. By 1986, they have 4,000 employees, sales of $189 million and a pre-tax profit of $19 million. Virgin at one point went public, and then he took it private because he hated being a public company. My own personal philosophy is like, I think smaller is better, but I do understand some people want to build a giant conglomerate.
