Is the Bible Compatible With What the Mainstream Thinking Is?

I get accused of that all the time, people who say i'm just doing all these gymnastics and calling it the ancient world a in order to make the science that i want to work to work. And for me, that comes down to a very basic distinction, which i didn't make up, but i think it's very important.
