Learning to Live With Baboons
Maboons began eating weig too much of the crop of a shuman village. Human farmers got mad. Effect those baboons were committing, i suppose, the first act of hubrus. The farmers sought out oracles, diviners, who would help them understand what kind of damage had been done to their culture and relations with maboons. So they had a ceremony,. brought the baboons back, gave them gifts and then reconciled with the baboons. But part of that reconciliation was to share with the baboon one part of their crops from now on.
