Do Owls Have Eyeballs?

Owls have front facing eyes, you as a human being have front facing eye balls. They can only move their eyes around 1.5 degrees in any direction. This is why if you've ever told a bad joke to a bird, you'll never see them. You'll see them like tilt their head all the way back because they can't roll their eyes. And so based on these constraints, if you've got bird eyes that can't move, but you want to be still a predator, a bendy neck seems like the perfect solution.
