The two kind of scary mom archetypes that I can see in like 70s to 80s Stephen King is like the Annie Wilkes archetype where you're like fat in an intrinsically threatening way hence the famous Stephen King fatphobia. And then there's like the religious mania down at the road house mom who's like Carrie's mom Johnny's mom Franz mom in the standlike the mom who's too religious and sometimes she's too Protestant but sometimes she'sToo Catholic.
