The Dangers of Fasting

After the first 24 hours, your body starts utilizing proteins. Proteins are then converted into glucose for energy reserves. But after 48 hours, it turns to breaking down fats for fuel or what we call ketosis. It's actually going to keep us lean and healthy rather than having an excess of glucose,. which will then be converted to fat storage - why we see all the obesity that epidemic these days.
