"Amps ar y" is a term used to describe the sudden awareness that grief can bring. The brain uses thousands of days of experience to predict what's going to happen, and it doesn't change instantly when some one dies. "Having a name was helpful, because i didn't feel like there was anything wrong with me or hit," she says.
