You Can't Sell the Back Steps of Real Estate?
We bought four hectares at Caron-Dahr Brisbane, for $35,000 back about 1975. Then we bought a house in Brisbane on the river, where I'm talking from now. You're talking two thirds of an acre on the river with a 45 meter frontage above the flood level. But you can't sell the back steps of real estate. So did you did not reach financial independence? I don't know. It was just more about I got to sorting out my money and his finances. And I look back and my most cherished assets are my index funds. They went from $50 to $14 in the last four months on down a million now.
