It's essentially a giant search engine that matches the needs of employers to the skills and experience of workers. A person's skil diane could include soft skills like resourcefulness, being a people person or a great communicator. The softwer also acts as a tool that leaders can use to insure that their employees skills are seen and valued within their company.
