Roger Waters' Comments on the COVID Lockdowns
I supported Roger Waters because of his position, his courageous position on the Ukraine war and his position on the COVID lockdowns. And that's what my tweet was about when I came to understand that he had other positions that were more controversial that were hurtful to certain people. But if anybody who looks at my speech will see that that's not what I was doing. What we ought to be doing right now is strengthening our democratic institutions rather than weakening them. The ambition of every totalitarian system is complete control of human behavior but throughout history,. no totalitarian system has ever been able to achieve that now today due to technologies we will be able to.
