Sub Minimum Wage and Tipping in the Restaurant Industry

The sub minimum wage and tipping is not exclusive to the restaurant industry. The gig workers sector, in many ways, is trying to emulate this boon doggle that the restaurant industry has by basically cutting worker payments based on how much they get tipped. And then beyond that, you've got subom wages for workers with disabilities, which is based on a really gross, antiquated idea that people with disabilities are less productive. It was actually a very historic moment since slavery when 20 19 became the first time either house of congress moved to eliminate the submenon wage. You know what i am saying?
