Is There a Community Fork of LND?

LND can be used as a library, right? But it's mostly a node application. It's like we saw breeze just get fed up with LND and trying to merge pull requests in the LND because "this isn't safe for the node" And then their PRs go nowhere, they end up running a fork of LND.
