Is Science a Life-Denial?
Nietzsche is worried that we're not affirming the sort of great instincts that attach us to life and that lead us to a firm life. He's implicating science and even atheism in the acetic ideal, they're fully implicated in it. But still there's something denying about it, isn't there? If we were to take a balance, he seems to be more on the side of the Master,. saying they took life empirically as they founded and lived life as it should be lived.
