The Impact of Extra Bowlers in the IPL
Ravi Bopara says the IPL's new innovations are working well so far. Teams can take two teams out and choose which one they want to bat first or second depending on the toss, as well as impact substitutes. The extra bowler who comes in when you're defending a score has a much bigger impact than the batsman coming into bat for chasing team. He might not face 12 balls to affect the game but could only face one ball and get out.
