The Ark of the Covenant and the Philistines
The Philistines try to use the Ark as a means to pretty much overcome the nation of Israel. They're just trying to use it in battle and then eventually they are at set up points that the Philistines win because God is not going to just be with them as they're trying to manipulate God. The Ark eventually arrives back up to the Israelites but it's even clear by the end of chapter 6 that they have not even learned their lesson. It leads to about 70 men who are killed. Then we transition in chapter 7 we see that Samuel was made judge. He is a righteous man but it pretty much leaves us with the question though but we've already seen what happens
