Geomorphology - What Does a Geomorphologist Do?
The idea of things forming in layers is really fundamental to a lot of science. One thing anyone can do is if you're pass by a road cut, you can look at the layers of rock. If the layers are flat, you know that they're still in the way that they form. Sometimes you can see road cuts where rocks have been folded some it means that they've been uplifted and they've been squished around. So yet, even just by looking like the way that the rock layers are tilted in a roadcut, you can tell something about the history of that place.
