Is Marriage a Crisis at the Top?
Marriage is an expression of the joint commitment to parenting. In the old days, it was more based on economic dependence. So marriage has become now much more like a joint venture between two economically powerful individuals,. Both well educated, et cetera. It rests partly on divsion of labor, for sure, but i would actually say it rests more on the sharing of resources which can allow a greater division of labour. And in divorce, mums stay home for longer. Its a kind of insurance matter. Is the papers called marriage as collaterald what it's actually say? This is an insurance contract. It's a joint bad hoever.
